Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi is currently stationed in Kashmir shooting for his next, Ground Zero. He is accompanied by Sai Tamhankar who will reportedly play his wife in the upcoming film. However, recent reports cited that the actor had suffered injuries due to stone pelting incident that allegedly took place at a nearby market. It was also claimed that an FIR was registered following the incident. Now, Emraan Hashmi has taken to social media to clarify and said that the people of Kashmir have been warm and welcoming.
Emraan Hashmi on Tuesday morning took to his official Twitter account to inform that the reports about his injuries are inaccurate. He also stated that shooting in Kashmir has been amazing, especially in Srinagar and Pahalgam. “The people of Kashmir have been very warm and welcoming, it has been an absolute joy shooting in Srinagar and Pahalgam. The news of me being injured in a stone pelting incident is inaccurate,” he wrote on Twitter.

In Ground Zero, Emraan Hashmi is reportedly essaying the role of an Army officer. The military drama also stars Zoya Hussain. The cast and crew recently wrapped their schedule in Srinagar and are currently stationed at Pahalgam. The film is being helmed by Tejas Deoskar, who is best known for Madhuri Dixit’s Marathi debut film Bucket List.
Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi has an array of projects lined up, including Tiger 3 with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, the film will see Hashmi in the role of an antagonist. It is set for April 2023 theatrical release. Apart from this project, the actor is also starring in Selfiee along with Akshay Kumar. It is the Hindi remake of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Driving License and is slated for February 2023 release.
