South Korean drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo starring Park Eun Bin and Kang Tae Oh is not only breaking the records in the home country with viewership but also taking over Netflix globally. The K-drama has retained the No.1 spot on the on Netflix’s 10 most-watched non-English series, as per the latest update on Tuesday, August 16.
After six weeks on the non-English TV List, Extraordinary Attorney Woo once again topped the list with an additional 69.36 million watch hours between August 4 and August 14. The South Korean drama also entered the Most Popular list and grabbed the No.8 position with 288.62 million hours viewership.
The makers are currently in talks for season 2 with goals for the premiere set in 2024. The makers also plan to retain the same cast and entire production unit for the second season. The series is already getting offers for a US remake after making waves on the platform.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo is a story about an autistic attorney Young Woo tackles challenges in the courtroom and beyond with the help of her friends and colleagues. She might be different from you and me but when it comes to delivering justice, you can bet that no case is too big or difficult for this newbie attorney to handle. The series also stars Kang Ki Young, Ha Yun Kyung, and Joo Jong Hy.
